Join us for the Spring session of Motherhood Together for New Moms (see for Pregnancy below!), a free drop-in support group for moms with children ages 0-3. Share space together and build community while your children play outside. In partnership with Postpartum Support Virginia, Libby Hayes, therapist for moms from Connected Beginnings, will share tips on managing the mental load of motherhood, reducing overwhelm and self-doubt, and parenting in a way that feels authentic to you.*

Most sessions we meet outside in the welcoming wooded play space. There are blankets for the babies, chairs for moms, and endless open-ended play for toddlers in the nature-based play space. If it is raining, we have an indoor space at St. Peter’s that works well for babies and toddlers.

Sessions are low-key, focused on connecting, making friends, and providing space to share honestly about the ups and downs of motherhood. Past topics have included:

  • toddler and baby sleep

  • the mental load

  • identity shifts as a mom

  • transitioning back to work and navigating time as a stay-at-home parent
