Therapy for Birth Trauma

Birth trauma can result from feeling fearful, alone, vulnerable, powerless, and dismissed during any part of your birth experience. Maybe you or your baby went through a medical emergency during your birth or after delivery and one or both of you were in danger or you were separated after birth. Or maybe things went “okay” but you still felt out of control or alone during a vulnerable and sometimes scary time that often doesn’t go according to the plan we have in our mind.

If you’re having trouble being present and find yourself replaying your birth, dealing with feelings of guilt, shame, or inadequacy, therapy can help.
